My studies

Hello! I’m going to tell you more about me and what I do. I study social work, never before in my life I would’ve thought that this would be my profession because it never was an option for me in school, when I was little as every other girl I wanted to be a doctor, after that when I grew up I wanted to be an architect or a graphical designer, I even postulate to design and socialwork when decisions have to be made. I must confess that I choose social work in the university fair when the architecture students only said bad things to me about the career, so I start a search for another path right there in the moment.

To be honest, to fall in love with what I study has been hard, I have thought several times to change careers but everything has to come to an end, so here I am, finishing it. I think college is a place of great knowledge where you get to know also a lot of wonderfull people, but also gives you a lot of stress and anxiety when the moment to deliver the works and papers comes. Finally, I am in my last year of studies, and I attempt to finish it the best way possible.

  Hello, my name is Con with a latin “I” and I live in Santiago of Chile, more specifically in “Quinta normal” with my family: mom, dad, older brother and our kitten Cucha, also I have two other older sibilings but they live with their own families. Since the day I was born we’ve lived in the same house and we love the neighborhood, most of the neighbors are related to my dad, but even tho I love everything about the place, I am moving. Santiago is a complex city because there is too many people living in it and they are always very stressed, so I would like to move to a more peaceful city. To tell a little something about me, I work in my own restaurant with my brother, it´s called “Maldito cheff” in which we have traditional and vegan food, we complement his abilities as a professional chef and my vegan lifestyle to be able to form this great business as a family.

My favorite food

  My favorite food is lasagna, it contains dough layers and in between it has tomato sause, soy meat (in my case) and vegan cheese. To make a lasagna you have to stir fry vegetables like onion, carrots and garlic, then you add the soy meat, salt and dried oregano at taste and tomato sauce. While the water gets warm to finish cooking the dough that it comes precooked, you put it in a slab bowl with the sauce that you made early and the cheese on top, then another layer and the soy preparation till you fill the slab bowl and put it in the oven till the cheese melts. Lasagna it’s a food I don’t eat every day so it doesn’t affect in a negative way my health because its very tasty but it has a lot of sodium so it couldn’t be recommended it for an every day meal.

The cell phone

 Today I am going to tell you all about my favorite technologic devise, the cellphone. I have several reasons why, one of them if not the principal is its size, a devise that can be carried anywhere so easily because it fits in your backpack or totte bag or even in your pocket! Sometimes it gets lost in my bags because I tend to carry all of my stuff in there, but still is the most practical. Other of the reasons I love it, it is because you have all the apps you could possibly need to communicate or just to entertain yourself, even though the cellphone can contain a lot of information and apps, the biggest use I gave to it -like the millennial I am- is WhatsApp and Instagram because you can talk to a lot of people at the same time but adobe all you can communicate with the people you haven’t seen in a long time and for a worker person like I am, is the most useful way to keep the relations alive.
